Jody and Mary’s Cambria wedding had all the elements of a true DIY destination wedding on the Central Coast. Their family member, Benjamin Neivert, was their photographer, a close friend was their officiant, they wrote out their own ceremony and vows, and even created their own center pieces from reused glass items bought at the Oakland Museum White Elephant Sale near their home. Set in the peaceful backyard garden patio of Robin’s Restaurant with live, acoustic music provided by a local singer-songwriter, Jody and Mary spent a sweet, intimate evening celebrating their love. The next day, most of their guests joined them for a day at Moonstone Beach and a few stayed longer to enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting in Paso Robles. With guests traveling from as far as Boston, Alaska and Spain, Jody and Mary wanted their family and friends to experience their wedding weekend in a beautiful place that has served as a favorite (and increasingly regular) getaway destination for the Bay Area couple – mission accomplished!
